Invert Handplant seem to be an extremely rare trick. Riders like Terry Price, BenJ Friant and Coedie Donovan did these back in the day. I recently landed them so thought I'd put it up on here. Ben Grantham | Camp America 2016 Application Video (PLACED)
Просмотров 9656 лет назад
An introduction to my Camp America application and some ways in which I can benefit a summer camp. Enjoy! I was placed to work at Appel Farm Arts & Music Summer Camp as a Video Instructor and Bunk Counsellor. I decided to make this video publicly accessible as I think it can act as a decent example of how to produce one of these videos. When the video got added to my Camp America profile I pret...

Hey bro I know you like 20 something know but could you possibly help me with my modifications I am currently trying to make in my own personal fusion ‘asphalt’ sport board. Do you have any other tutorials you could share with me? Thank you for your time!
Genlock is a signal that synchronizes frame rate TICK of individual cameras (or other devices). Meaning the frames from different cameras capture exactly the same moment in time. Otherwise each camera would have its random tick. Meaning switcher would either have to do the synchronization (wait for all frames to arrive adding latency) or cuts between non-synchronized cameras would not be clean. It has nothing to do with time code. Cameras can have time code synced but still not be genlocked, so the frames from two cameras with exact same time code could still be showing slightly different moment in time... depending how much off-sync they are.
Thanks for the clarification! I think out of all the topics I tried to cover in this video that was the thing I struggled with explaining the most
Outstanding
Times 11:13 - 11:31, 13:08 - 13:31 are just a white screen, you forgot to cut back to the story...
I wasn’t “reminded” to like, subscribe, turn on, or smash anything… just quality informative content delivered straightforward with no pandering to “THE algorithm”. You tube in its purist form. THANK YOU!! Cheers!
No worries! Glad you liked the video. Because this was originally used as part of a university assessment, it wasn't necessary to do the whole 'like and subscribe' thing. There's another similar video on my channel about 'Roles in the Television Studio' which you are welcome to watch 😃
Wow, a rollercoaster ride of volumes of info, well done! I had to pause a few times, and also slow it down, but learned a lot!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
This kid has about 24 coffees before recording this I think. Had to play it back at 0.9x speed to make it even remotely listenable.
Came to the channel for the video essay on cameras, and was surprised to see a video on riffs from my favorite band! Hoping they release another album soon.
0:05 This is incorrect. First operational camera used was the camera obscura in 1827. The one in your video is of something different.
You lost me at "sponsored by the BBC"...
I don't recall saying that, have you got the time stamp?
one other, more understood concept of light level for photographers is EV or exposure value, for your 2,000 Lx the cloudy day represents approx 12-15 EV ( 1\250 @ f 8 or f 11) for simple terms of reference. ( or for the sunny 16 rule, cloudy = F8 @ 1\asa ).
awesome video, thank you!
I bit off more than I can comprehend... something like that.🤯
Wow, the pace of the canter through all the principles was so quick that I ended up watching the video at 0.75 speed. Thanks for taking the time to create and share this video, it’s very much appreciated.
Is this sped up? Annoying.
I thought most broadcast cameras were using a 2/3 inch sensor? That’s not big.
This video is litearlly crazy. No other words for it. This is so full of information i absolutely love it.
Very interesting something i'v wanted to know for years
Hello. Wonderful & thanks. Either I need to speed up my ears, or I ask you to *slightly* slow down the delivery. Yeah, I’d stop “re-wind” & give another listen, or three & then I stood a chance at understanding some content. I sorta think, at your delivery speed “They” already knew & understood TV production cameras. I’m on the receiving end of Rental House equipment. Receive it around 2-3 pm, set-up 4:30-5 pm, Dinner & awards around 6 pm. That leaves NO time to learn the finer points of this equipment, assuming they sent you the camera & all the parts you specified. Next time it’ll be a different equipment package. What I lack in expertise, I make up for in adaptability. What fun!! Truly thanks again. RF
Hey Ralph, good for you for trying to keep up! I did the captions for this video manually so if you wish, click on the 'CC' button and all the subtitles will be provided :) all the best!
Ah geez much better at 0.75 speed. Now I can process.
Aha nice one. I appreciate that it's A LOT of info within such a small amount of time. 👍
Live version is honestly way better
COMO.operador cámara de tv, gracias, buen. video
They built a second camera to take a photo of the first one
Love Live Tubelord
Brilliant. Thank you.
490mm is 1,13kg not 1,18kg lol
I would get one of these just to make a RUclips video
Thank you
How much foot space is there?
How is it for fingerwhips? I keep slicing my finger
I'd say these are ideal for fingerwhips. As I mentioned at 3:24 the deck has a nearly boxed profile, so there's a lot of surface area that would make contact with your hand during a fingerwhip. It's very unlikely to slice your hand in any way.
Fowlers! OMG.
Not been there in an extremely long time
@@BenScooter1 Neither have I. We were always scared of getting mugged over there lol. No idea if it's still there now. They did the W'hall skatepark up really well.
@@flip-phone_becky4655 yeah it had a reputation for being rather sketchy. I've been to the Wilenhall park the once, and was impressed!
@@BenScooter1 The reputation was literally the first thing I heard about after learning of its existence. I really miss it back when we would find this skateparks just based on hearsay and gossip. The one I really miss is the old Wednesfield park. Younger people these days would never accept it or value it but we spent loads of summer holidays there all the time with cheap rola-cola. That's how I found your channel. I was looking for a video of that old skatepark. I saw one years ago where "heelflip Chris" ollied down from the top level and down to the lower one. I think it was a basketball court down there. I still haven't found that video but it keeps coming back to me every now and then over the years. There seems to be no videos or photos of that old park at all anywhere. I even miss that weird flatbank sort of thing by the little miniramp. The grindbox was my favourite though. Finding skateparks back then was like going on a quest with your friends or something! So much adventure has been lost in the world since then; sold for convenience and people don't even know it.
Clap clap clap! I miss the planet days. I still clap every time I hear this. Brainwashed and glad for it lol.
I remember their teen discos on a Saturday afternoon aha. It definitely felt like a simpler time. At least during my teenage years my taste in girls was pretty much informed solely by the sorts you'd see at Planet :')
By the way I haven't seen this video in YEARS. I can't believe you've made me relive it :')
@@BenScooter1 I miss those days so much! I as gutted when all my friends decided to grow up and stop going. We all used to go back over 'the hill'. This place we'd get to on the 333. It we magical times. I wish I knew how special it was when we were all there. I'm glad I made you relive it. It was such a great time and I'm glad we got to grow up back before everyone got sucked into their phones haha.
Scooter Ben from Penn!
Jesus Christ you've got some memory on you!!
@@BenScooter1 I remember most from that sort of time period of my life. It got all stormy after that until recently. So it's sort of like I was in a time machine. ^_^ You would turn up and even though lots of people thought scooters weren't cool, everyone would respect you. There was you, then I remember there was that Jacob on rollerblades. And even though people would hate on both those sports, people would respect you guys because it was clear you had actual talent and it left people sort of waiting and watching because they actually wanted to see what you guys would do. Good times. :D
@@flip-phone_becky4655 I'm surprised you even remember! I recall a few Beckys but I couldn't guess which one you were
@@BenScooter1 You would never recall me. Becky isn't my name. I just used this as a username because it was either this or Stacy lol. I look and dress pretty much opposite to how I looked before so nobody would really guess who I am. :p
you still scooter? i use to watch videos way back in the day
I do still scoot, I just don't have the time to ride and make videos super often. A majority of the people I used to know and ride with back in the day have moved on and made way for a new generation of riders.
@@BenScooter1 damn, that’s fire you still ride when you can though i use to look up to you when i was like 10-12 and watch the vids daily
@@dylanjoe3680 when I stopped riding for Razor and went off to uni I stopped making as many videos (which I kinda regret now.) If I remained highly involved with the scooter scene/industry and regularly put out content that appealed to my growing subscriber base, this had the potential of being a pretty large channel.
@@BenScooter1 i agree your account was going crazy for a good while seemed like you had years put into scooters. dope to hear you still ride occasionally, you ever post clips on insta?
@@dylanjoe3680 yeah I'm bennygrantham on Instagram. Occasionally I put riding clips up and a few times a year I meet up with Luke Painter (who was on Madd UK with me in 2010.)
So much valuable information! You rule!
Thank you! 😄
It's actually lighter because that is the weight of the 4.75 wide, the 4.5 is lighter.
WHY DUD PL PATCH THIS?????
How wide is it!
Great video. Period.
Do you still scooter?
I do! But I don't upload riding footage to RUclips much anymore. My latest stuff can be found on my Instagram @bennygrantham
0:05 not sure if you were trolling with the "very first camera".. besides the fact that somebody took an actual photo of that camera, large doesnt mean first.
So youtube just brought this up. Your day has come, front scooterflip air.
top bro :)
Looks like some ACE trick, and I never seen one in a modern game, until this.
